Just a Fashion Girly's Origin Story
Hey, you! My name is Lorena, but you can call me Rena for short. You know, because we're friends now. I'm 25 years old, born and raised in Massachusetts. I'm an older sister to one spunky 17yo girl whom I love wholeheartedly and a daughter to two brave, hardworking, and slightly quirky Brazilian parents.

Some of my earliest memories include attending a little church with my mom every Sunday night and hopping on and off planes every summer to visit our family in Brazil. I always recall looking through fashion magazines in the grocery store checkout lanes as my mom finished shopping, and pretending to be anything from a Barbie fashion designer to a stuffed animal doctor with my giant imagination in hand.
Of course, I grew up and today I have a Bachelor's in Biology and Health Sciences which I occasionally use having worked in one of the largest emergency rooms in the state and now ow working in urgent care. Yes, it's about as crazy as you think it is. When I'm not using my science brain, I'm likely at my church and second home, New Life in Framingham, MA. There, I spend time with Jesus and some of the best people in the world, getting into (minor) trouble and going on backyard adventures.

Life here in New England is pretty great. But, in recent years, I had the privilege of becoming a solo traveler and discovering beautiful cultures, places, and people around the world. And in the middle of it all, going back to my first love; fashion. I've rediscovered and redefined my style, inspired by the fabulous women I've met and seen during my adventures, and infused their exotic touch into endless curated looks.

My dreams have grown far beyond the borders of the emergency room and of greater Boston. Today I'm working towards completely diving into the fashion industry, creating content inspired by the world and her runways, and soon *fingers crossed* working with some of the greatest names in
Paris, Milan, and New York Fashion Weeks.

So buckle up! This memoir has just begun and you can bet I'm designing your future dream couture pieces. Always overdressed and fashionably late, I'm running all over the globe, leaving my stiletto footprints in my wake. What you see here is just the beginning of a great fashion renaissance.
